What Does It Cost To.......

We get phone calls every day from clients asking “what does it cost to lift a patio”, and unfortunately the answer is always the same. It would be similar to call a mechanic and ask how much to diagnose and fix “whatever is wrong with my car”? Well, until the mechanic has a chance to look at, diagnose and prescribe a solutions, it’s impossible to say what that particular solution is going to cost. We want to provide the best possible information to our clients and that is why we almost always need to come out and walk through the problem areas with them. This way, we can ask questions to find out exaclty what their goals are and provide informed advice as to the best way to reach those goals.

Some of the varibles that are considered to determine the price are: 1) The square feet of area that needs to be lifted, 2) The thickness of the slab, 3) How may sides of the slab that need to lifted, 4) How many inches the slab needs to be lifted, 5) Do the joints need to be cut with a concrete saw?, 6) Are there Voids under the slab – if so how many inches of void space, 7) What is around the slab (is plastic protection required) and what type of access is there?, 8) How close can we park our trailer? Can we reach the area with our hoses?, 9) Is the area inside a finished space (basement) or out doors?,  10) Are there any special requirements for the job?, 11) Can the concrete actually be lifted or are there some problems that might keep it from lifting?
